Sales tax

New York State sales tax of 8.875% is applicable on all products and is payable to all orders shipping within New York State. Sales tax does not apply to items purchased from any other state or country. This includes gift orders but does not apply to direct donations. Please be aware that with international orders, local Customs may charge you duty and tax on your order which is the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Calculating shipping costs

Shipping costs are worked out on a flat rate schedule and are displayed when you checkout (but before you finalize the order). Shipping costs are based on the exact items in your order, the exact delivery address and the method of shipping. Payment options

You can pay with the following method:

  • credit card processed by PayPal
  • personal, bank, or business check
  • cash
  • wire transfer (for international orders over $1000 USD)
  • strong>

Shipping

Paintings are generally shipped domestically using FedEx Express Saver with a signature required. International shipments are mailed via US Post Express Mail. In both instances, tracking information is provided. All smaller items such as books, DVDs, etc. are shipped by US Post Priority. Exceptions may be made for shipping large framed works or in other unique circumstances. FedEx does not ship to PO Boxes. We guarantee that items are shipped out in a timely fashion but cannot control events that take place during transit; such as items held at local Customs, failed delivery attempts, etc. Damage occurred to the package in transit will require the return of the item and package then will be taken up with the shipping company. We require a signature on all paintings shipped domestically so that the package does not disappear from a doorstep, lobby, or foyer. If a request is made to not require a signature for delivery, the AEACP removed of liability for any loss of the item during transit.
All our inventory ships from our New York office and upon purchase, is shipped within two working days. The approximate time for shipments to arrive within the US is 3-7 business days. International shipments will generally take 5-10 days.
We deliver goods worldwide.

Returns / Exchange

To return an item for any reason you must contact the AEACP office before returning the item. We recognize that it can be difficult to purchase a piece of artwork online but we do our best to represent colors exactly to ensure that your choice is the right one. If you have questions about a particular piece, please ask before buying or if you would like to see a larger image of the painting, we are happy to do that as well. We will take back returns and issue a full refund of the purchase price (less shipping charges) after an email authorization and inspection of the returned item. The item must but unaltered and undamaged (unless damage was done in transit) to be accepted for a return or exchange. Please return the item within 14 days, together with the original paperwork and invoice. We will credit your account, or exchange the item for another selection.
