Elephant Art Fashion Show & Auction

ELEPHANTS & MAHOUTS

Elephants with designs in the show are Boon Rod, Ging Gaow, Kam Lai Tong, Noppakhao, and Yod Yeam from the Ayutthaya Royal Elephant Kraal as well as Sela from Kandang Gajah Camp at Borobudur Temple in Indonesia.  The participation of the elephants and their painting skills in general are the direct result of the hard work and dedication of each elephants’ mahout.
We will have plenty of video of the elephants painting, but unfortunately we will not be able to have any of the elephants or their mahouts at the event.  I know, so sad.  Nevertheless, we do want to reiterate the fact that all of this would not be remotely possible without the help of the mahouts and the uncanny talent of the elephants themselves.
