PLAI CHOMPON'S BIO:
Plai Chompon is a beautiful elephant that was born in 1986 in Surin, Thailand. Having never painted before, he began to paint very slowly at first, with markedly hesitant strokes. As he became more experienced, his concentration was unparalleled. When painting, his eyes are sharply focused on the paper. He often starts with horizontal lines across the paper, followed by singular - dots, as well as some curving brush strokes to finish the piece off. Plai Chompon utilizes a very gentle "painting the fence" motion in most of his work, but does seem to have three brushstrokes - dots, long horizontal strokes and vertical curving strokes. He is astoundingly intelligent and a very fast learner, especially for being an older male. |
